UK: Multiple Tourist Visa (With Invitation)

This time, I finally realized my dream of traveling to the United Kingdom. I’ve delayed this trip for a year, and finally here I am, writing about the requirements to get that one hurdle to setting foot in my travel destination topnotcher: the VISA.

For this trip, I will be traveling with my Mom, and we were invited and will be supported by my Aunt who is a British Citizen. You can get information online about the requirements when you do visit the country on your own. But since there’s only a few who write information about trips that are sponsored, here’s my contribution to that lot.

Applying for South Korean Tourist Visa (Philippine Passport)

Since I got my second South Korean Tourist Visa, I will share with you guys my tips and experiences in applying, including the details of what we submitted.

The first time I applied was only for myself – hence, I only needed to prepare my documents.

The second time I applied, I’m applying for myself and my sister. Why for my sister? I will be the one to support her; hence I needed to prepare documents beyond what were required of me.

Since the instructions for submitting documents for an employee are already enumerated here, and countless pages have shared as well (my favourite being this site – not just for the dense information, but for the writing style as well), I will just share the requirements I submitted as an employee supporting a student, and share as well the documents my sister submitted. This will be for application done on August 13, 2015

Relaxation of Visa Requirements for Nationals of

Indonesia, the Philippines, Viet Nam and India

June 17, 2014

Following today’s meeting of the Ministerial Council on the Promotion of Japan as a Tourism-Oriented Country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to endeavour to realize the exemption of visa requirements as promptly as possible and to implement, as an initial step, the following substantial relaxations of visa requirements for nationals of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam, in cooperation with these partner countries.

The objectives of these measures are to promote Japan as a tourism-oriented country with the even higher goal of attracting 20 million foreign visitors, to contribute to growth strategies as well as the promotion of people-to-people exchanges. The details of the measures including the beginning date of application are currently under consideration.

For national of the Philippines  multiple-entry visa requirements will be substantially relaxed, and requirements for single-entry tourism visas will be relaxed to a quasi-exemption-equivalent level when applied via specified travel agencies.

If it matters, my friend and I are planning to visit Japan in winter. We already have our tickets booked, and relaxing the requirements for the Japan visit Visa will boost my/our confidence in setting foot in the Land of the Rising Sun and Arashi.  *winkwink*

Here’s t crossing our fingers and toes!
